Hi, I’m Deanna, a graphic designer and digital media specialist based in Pittsburgh. With over eight years of experience in print and digital design, I specialize in creating compelling visual experiences across both physical and digital platforms. From branding and marketing materials to interactive media and UX/UI design, my work blends creativity with functionality to tell impactful stories.
Currently, I serve as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Whitehall Public Library, where I develop print collateral, promotional campaigns, and digital content to engage the community. I also teach UX/UI and graphic design as an adjunct instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County, helping students build strong design foundations.
Freelance Work
Beyond my full-time roles, I collaborate with various companies and institutions to provide custom print and digital design solutions, including:
- Print collateral (brochures, posters, booklets, signage)
- Digital media (motion graphics, interactive content, web assets)
- Marketing design (branding, social media, and content strategy)
I’ve worked with organizations such as the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), Point Park University, and Walnut Capital, crafting print and digital materials that enhance audience engagement. Whether designing a visually striking campaign or developing a seamless digital experience, I bring a detail-oriented and strategic approach to every project.
Beyond design, I’m passionate about mentorship and the arts. I support the Pittsburgh creative scene through live painting and community events at RedFishbowl Studios and advocate for pigeon care as a dedicated foster with Pigeons as Pets Rescue and Palomacy.
I’m always open to new creative collaborations—let’s bring your next print or digital project to life!

Volunteering & Community Engagement
Giving back to the community is at the heart of my creative journey. In addition to my professional work, I’m deeply involved in various volunteering and mentorship initiatives that allow me to share my skills and passions.
As a board member for AIGA Pittsburgh, I contribute to the local design community by helping shape initiatives that promote creativity, connection, and professional development.
I also mentor aspiring creatives through AIGA Portfolio Review events, offering guidance and feedback to help designers refine their portfolios and advance their careers.
A passionate supporter of the arts, I live paint at Pittsburgh’s Art All Night, a 24-hour art exhibition that celebrates local creativity and brings the community together through live art-making.
Beyond the arts, I’m an advocate for pigeon care and rescue. As a fosterer and rescuer of pigeons, I care for and rehabilitate these often-overlooked animals. I’m also the proud owner of a pet pigeon named Rollo, who has been a source of joy and inspiration in my life.
Through these volunteer activities, I strive to uplift others and contribute to my community—whether through creativity, mentorship, or animal advocacy.
